History

Purple Toad began as a family-owned winery in Paducah and built its reputation around approachable, fruit-driven wines made with modern winemaking techniques and old-world knowledge. After McCracken County approved liquor sales in 2023, Purple Toad began developing a new distilling operation and launched production in a 2,500-square-foot facility in 2024, allowing the family-owned business to bring its playful, approachable tasting-room style into the world of Kentucky spirits.
